This site is dedicated to the memory of Rachel Shipp.

Rachel was born on March 20, 1987, the second daughter of Joyce and David.

She was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of two, but defied doctors at the time by surviving with the help of many treatments received at Addenbrookes Hospital. She was however, left with continuing health problems, always to remain a little girl on the inside. She continued to battle every new challenge alongside her loving family for 28 years and 89 days.

Rachel loved to be out and about, always busy. She was colourful and creative. Her most cherished memory was getting to see the dolphins of the Moray Firth in Scotland.

Rachel passed away on 17th June 2015 after being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at James Paget Hospital. The staff fought day and night to fight a viscious infection which Rachel was simply unable to overcome. She slipped away peacefully with her family by her side.

No more pain, no more suffering.

Sweet dreams little girl, swim with the dolphins forever.

The family wishes to thank and acknowledge the support and dedication of the following organisations and individuals who have been an important part of Rachel's life.
